Awards

Over the years the society and its members have received a number of rewards.  The include:

2006 Derby Amateur Theatre Awards

Michelle Smith won the Jo Davidson award for the Best Newcomer for her performance of Phyllis in Iolanthe

Sue Leahy won the Phil Treece award for the best supporting performance by an actress for her portrayal of the Fairy Queen.

2002 Derby Amateur Theatre Awards

HMS Pinafore won the Eagle Award for the Best Production of a Musical

2001 8th International Gilbert and Sullivan Festival

Tony Eley won Best Supporting Actor for Old Adam in Ruddygore.

1999 6th International Gilbert and Sullivan Festival

Margaret Featherstone won Best Character Actress for Eliza Smith in the Zoo and

Ann Redfern - Won the Adjudicators Special Award as a "slops maid" in the chorus of the Sorcerer.

The Zoo and Sorcerer were Runners Up for Best Performance.

1997 International Gilbert and Sullivan Festival
